During Ramadan and Eid 2025, a wide range of humanitarian initiatives implemented by CVC, in partnership with nonprofit organizations including Ummah Charity, Africa Muslims Agency (AMA), and Assunya, provided critical support to vulnerable communities across Lebanon. In addition, the generous support of individual donors helped a nationwide campaign reach 7,500 Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian families across Akkar, Tyre, Saida, South Lebanon, the Bekaa, and Mount Lebanon through the distribution of food assistance, essential supplies, and Eid clothing, helping families celebrate the holy season with dignity despite ongoing economic challenges. In March 2025, Ummah Charity provided Zakat al-Fitr food parcels to 18,750 Lebanese and Syrian families in Arsal, the Bekaa, South Lebanon, and Mount Lebanon, enabling households to meet their basic needs and observe Ramadan traditions. During the same month, a Ramadan support initiative funded by AMA assisted 5,000 Syrian and Palestinian refugees, as well as students from Aman Schools in North Lebanon and the Bekaa, by distributing food parcels, providing hot meals, and organizing community iftars throughout the month for families living in camps. Meanwhile, Assunya organized community iftars in Beirut’s Borj Al Barajneh area, supporting 730 Lebanese families and distributing 146 hot meals, in addition to implementing an Eid clothing initiative in South Lebanon’s Arkoub region, where 2,000 Eid clothing kits were distributed to children and women, supporting 2,000 Lebanese families in villages affected by destruction. Altogether, these coordinated Ramadan and Eid efforts reached tens of thousands of people across the country, strengthening solidarity, preserving traditions, and ensuring that vulnerable families were able to experience the spirit of the holy season with greater security and hope.
