Overview:
The "Injaz" Vocational Training Center targets young
individuals, especially school dropouts, providing them with training in
various skills and trades. These skills include glass painting, handicrafts,
crochet, beauty, cooking, refrigeration and air conditioning, mobile phone
maintenance, general and automotive electrical work, carpentry, blacksmithing,
sewing, and men's hairstyling.
Objectives:
- Reach out to the most vulnerable groups living below the poverty line
to benefit from training services.
- Target school dropouts or those who have been out of school for
extended periods, especially refugees.
- Reduce unemployment rates and alleviate poverty.
- Contribute to the creation of sustainable and productive communities.
- Combat voids and ignorance that may lead to decay, crime, or
extremism.
Locations and Status: 6 projects
1. Akkar: Completed and fully operational with a capacity for 250
students.
2. Sidon: Completed and fully operational with a capacity for 100
students.
3. Shheem: The building is secured and requires renovation,
equipping, and operation.
4. Aarmoun: The building is secured and requires renovation,
equipping, and operation.
5. Bekaa: Land secured, and necessary permits are being obtained.
6. Arsal: Land secured, and necessary permits are being obtained.
